Jason Halpern’s Career as a Real Estate Developer through JMH Development
Jason Halpern has been at the forefront in the development of unique and well-positioned residential and commercial buildings through JMH Development. JMH Development is a leading real estate developer in the United States who also owns many luxurious buildings across the country. They usually use an innovative approach so as to develop and produce high quality as well as sustainable properties which include re-using of historic buildings and changing them to better investments. Halpern has been in control of the family business since 2010 and has undertaken numerous real estate projects and investments across New York, channeling over $500 million towards their success.
JMH Development’s projects include the massive renovation of the 300 warehouses into a luxurious apartment, the restoration of the 184 Kent Avenue office as well as the Penthouse Apartment. Construction of townhouses in the guidance of the Cobble Hill Project is another of the renowned company’s project that remains remarkable in the city. 184 Kent apartment appears on the list of National Historic Register and has also won several awards which include the prestigious 2011 Building Brooklyn Award for being the best adaptive re-used building.
In the year 2014, they extended their venture from Manhattan, Brooklyn and New York to Miami. Through the founder Jason Halpern, JMH Development announced the topping off of the Aloft South Beach. The project was expected to be a grand venture bringing the best to Miami and apparently it turned out as expected. Aloft South Beach happened to have the characteristics of a boutique despite being a Starwood brand. It has the best designs and amenities that harmonized with guests expectations. Aloft South Beach was developed by JMH in collaboration with Madden real Estate as the engaged contractor, and ADD Inc. provided the architect services. The facility reopened early in the year 2015 and won the award for the hotel development of the year.
Aloft South Beach had unique features which no other hotel establishments has achieved since 2009. It was an 8-storey tower with large rooms of about 360 square feet. Guests were offered great experiences from a full-time fitness facility, outdoor pool, live concert halls, spacious meeting rooms as well as roof deck lounge. Its location was also a strategic plan where the guests could enjoy the view of waterfronts and also spend less towards Miami Beach Convention Center, entertainment joints and several eateries and art galleries.
Halpern started his career in real estate development in 1985 in one of his father’s businesses, Halpern Enterprises. Apart from diligently and successfully serving JMH development he also worked at Parametric Dining LLC where he served as a director. He is an adventurer’s person who never fears failure, and this helps him to invest courageously in any of his real estate projects.
