Handy the Future in Household Cleaning and Handyman Services

The goal for Handy moving forward it seems like they have turned a luxury service like cleaning into an affordable service that can be enjoyed by everyone. This was all done in just 3 years.

On demand cleaning services sounds like a very specific market area to venture into but Handy has shown us that there is money to be made in this very niche. Handy has mentioned that it would like to expand the number of services they provide. In recent months they have been experimenting with a service that allows the customer to purchase furniture from a third party store like Restoration Hardware or Ikea and then have someone collect the item of furniture, deliver it to your home and then on top of that build it together for you. All this for a complete fee. This is another very niche service that has not been provided by anyone else through and app form. However there is competition in the air as 2 other startups have recently gained some success. Hassle in the UK and Thumbtack in the USA have both gained momentum in recent months and could pose a direct threat to Handy.

There is no doubt that people have an appetite for the brand that is Handy, however staying at the top of its game and keeping up with the trends will be a challenge none the less.

Handy has gone through a lot of transformations over the years but there are many people who were there at the start. Weina Scott and Ignacio Leonhardt were the first 2 members that were the core of the team at its inception. Both have moved on to do other things but thanks is in order to them.
