Drew Madden Leads Nordic to its Success
Drew Madden is an experienced Healthcare IT executive and entrepreneur. He is passionate about Electronic Medical Records. Drew has spent over a decade cooperating with the best and brightest minds in the industry to implement, troubleshoot, optimize and take over complex challenges that accompany an EMR project. Drew Madden joined Nordic Consulting Partners in 2010. In 2011, Drew was made the president of the company up to 2016. Nordic is the most significant Epic consulting company in the world. The company has the recipient of many KLAS awards for consulting excellence. As the president, his roles involved client’s relationship, business development and recruiting.
During his reign at Nordic, the company developed from ten to 725 employees, three to 150 client partners and from $1,000,000 to $130,000,000 in annual revenue. Before he joined the Nordic company, Drew worked for the Ingenix, which is a subsidiary of United Healthcare in the business development sector and as an Epic consultant. Drew Madden started his healthcare IT career at Cerner Corporation. He spent about four years at Cerner Corporation implementing Inpatient clinical solutions. In 2005, he joined Healthia Consulting. Drew spent other four years implementation roles before he moved into a Business Development position. In the first year at Nordic, Drew talked to every consultant personally. He initiated proper relationship until the number of their consultant begun raising. When growing, he ensured some people understood the Epic, which they were talking about with their candidates.
Drew holds a B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering focusing on Medical Systems of the Iowa University College of engineering. Drew launched Evergreen Healthcare Partners, which is a healthcare IT firm that focuses on execution and advisory services for multiple enterprise EHR boards and HCIT. In his current company Evergreen, Drew ensures about two-thirds of the companies employees worked as Epic. The other part has a background of IT or medical.
Drew Madden can combine a technical EMR knowledge with his experience in project management and consulting operations. He helps healthcare IT officials to build successful Epic implementation groups. He admitted that getting people to work at evergreen isn’t simple. They require finding the brightest individuals in the market. However many still want to be in the EHR area like himself.
