GSH of Alabama is a company that was founded in 2008 by Barbara and her husband Scott Stokes with an aim of offering disaster relief construction. The company has been able to excel in the field as a result of its professionalism and management leaders who have been committed to their work.
Barbara Stokes received her education at the University of Mercer where she pursued a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and Physics. While at the University, Barbara also studied Thermodynamics, Technical Communication, Manufacturing, Management, Structures and Properties of Materials.
She has had an extensive experience from the previous companies she worked for before joining GSH. Barbara gained contracting experience from Boeing and Pisces Corporations companies where she used to make contracts with the government.
Her knowledge in properties of material helps in selecting constructing materials for homes that are strong, durable and of high quality. She is able to manage the construction processes ensuring that they are environmentally friendly. Barbara makes sure that there are set standards while doing construction at GSH and that these standards are adhered to at all times.
